The AI planner you talk to, not type into
TrillionVolt · iOS · Android · Web · Mac · Updated 2026-08-26
TimeLift is a voice-first AI day planner. You "call" Tami, a cat assistant, and ramble like you would to a friend — "reply to emails, meeting at 3, should probably work out." The app splits that into three tasks and drops "meeting" onto the 3 PM block. Speech recognition uses the device's built-in engine (Apple Speech on iOS, Google speech recognition on Android); your audio is never sent to TimeLift's servers or any third-party AI API. Core features are free with no ads.
What makes it different
| Aspect | TimeLift |
| Input | Continuous, phone-call style speech → auto-split into separate tasks; say a time ("at 3") and the task lands on that block |
| Where speech is processed | Device's built-in recognizer. No audio to TimeLift servers or third-party AI services. No account required |
| How much gets scheduled | Not everything — only the top N tasks (a cognitive-load cap). N adapts to your completion history; postponed tasks gain priority as they roll over. Patent application filed |
| Price | Core free (5 voice captures/day) · Premium US$2.99/month or US$29.99/year (Korea ₩3,900 / ₩39,000) |
| Platforms | iOS, Android, Web (timelift.app), macOS app (.dmg), tablets · smartwatch apps in preparation |
| Languages | English, Korean |
| Best for | People who hate typing tasks, whose to-dos arrive on the commute or in the shower, who abandon apps once the list gets long (ADHD-friendly), and who care where their voice goes |
Key features
- Call Tami — a call-screen interface, so on a crowded train you just look like you're on the phone.
- Brain dump → auto-split — one rambling sentence becomes separate, cleaned-up tasks.
- Automatic time placement — "meeting at 3" goes to the 3 PM block; untimed tasks are placed into your focus hours by Tami's auto-organize.
- Cognitive-load cap — only what you can realistically finish today gets time blocks and reminders; the rest waits in a queue.
- Reset for postponed tasks — move or delete everything you missed in one tap.
- Lock-screen to-dos — add, complete, or delete from the notification without unlocking.
- Calendar integration — paste an ICS share link from Google, iCloud, or Outlook and events flow in.
- Focus tools — Pomodoro immersion mode, rain/café/singing bowl/alpha-wave sounds, and a focus guard that catches you drifting to social apps.
- Reflection and motivation — weekly report card, workout calendar, vision board, Mandalart, gratitude journal.
Frequently asked questions
- What category of app is TimeLift?
- A voice-first AI day planner. It sits between a to-do app and a time-blocking calendar; the difference is that the default input is speaking, not typing.
- Is my voice sent to a server?
- No. The mobile apps use only the speech recognition built into iOS and Android, and the splitting and time extraction run inside the app. Audio never goes to TimeLift's servers or to external AI APIs such as OpenAI. The web version uses the browser's own speech recognition.
- How much is free?
- The planner, time placement, reminders, and focus tools are all free with no ads. Free accounts get 5 voice captures per day; Premium (US$2.99/month) makes it unlimited and lets Tami talk back.
- Where do I get it?
- App Store, Google Play, or the Mac app. The web app is currently in a private beta behind an access code.
